Since 2018, I have held the position of Principal Specialist in Engineering Automation and Digital Innovation and acted as the technical lead for the digital twin initiative for Subsea at McDermott in London. In this capacity, I have focused on enhancing engineering automation and fostering digital innovation, spearheading the development of digital twin technologies in subsea systems and efforts toward decarbonisation. My initiatives have resulted in notable advancements in project efficiency and technology adoption, ensuring our projects remain industry leaders.
I possess experience with the latest digital twin solutions for EPCs, utilising the Dassault Systems ENOVIA 3D platform, Aveva Unified Engineering, Aveva Connect, AVEVA PI systems, Hexagon SmartPlant Foundation, and HxDR.
From 2002 to 2018, I held several positions that enriched my experience in the field og Asset Management. Most notably, I worked as a Principal Consultant in Asset Management at INEOS in the UK, providing strategic consulting services that significantly enhanced asset management practices and operational performance. This role instilled confidence in the company’s strategic direction.
Before that, I served as a Principal Engineer in Asset Integrity Management at Petrofac, UK. In this position, I led initiatives to optimise asset integrity, ensuring the reliability and safety of operations. My tenure as a subsea analysis engineer at McDermott, UK, allowed me to apply my expertise in analysing deepwater subsea systems. There, I developed solutions that contributed to project success while mitigating risks.
Additionally, while working as a System Design Engineer at National Oilwell Varco (NOV) in Denmark, I was crucial in creating innovative system designs for flexible riser systems, which met client requirements and adhered to high-quality standards. This experience sparked excitement about the potential for innovation within the industry.
My background also includes positions as a Development Engineer at DTU in Denmark and EMPA in Switzerland, where I contributed to research and development projects to advance technology and foster collaboration between institutions in applying AI to wind energy.
I started my career at GE Global Research as a Research Engineer and Senior Research Engineer in Control. There, I explored advanced control systems, driving innovation and enhancing efficiency across various applications.
